hi david got it well i have registered it has my details and i have a tax
estimate now. so how on earth do you fill in your earnings. it's sad one cannot
ring a human being any more soon we will all be unemployed because everything
will have to be done online i wonder if i should get a website and tune
people's pianos online 1smile, anyway at least i am making progress. i just
need to work out how to fill in what i will earn next year.

The first thing that you have to do is register with the government gateway.
http://www.gateway.gov.uk/
this is the front door to a number of government facilities.
I refuse to call them "services"!
One such is your tax form submission.
I use it for VAT and alcohol returns, but not personal taxation as this is
handled by my accountant.

i went to register for the online services it gives me a user id code but
then i cannot get to stage 5 where i should be able to put in my post code
and the like. there's no way now you can fill you tax returns over the phone
