Hi if you have a gov.uk ID than you will not get anything through the post.
Also if you are on Twitter than HMRC can provide information support.

hi chris its good of you to get back to me. well one of our chess players works
for hrc which is interesting but, i have signed up can see my national
insurance number and i now have a tax estimate. so, i can log in but i have not
had to send any photos or anything in i just cannot find where i can fill in my
next year's earnings. like mike says it will save a lot of time when i can do
it though so, at least i am getting there.
i wonder if i should receive a letter through the post with an id but, i can
actually sign in.
i must say yes it is very accessible which is brilliant.

Our tax return service is based on an older platform, but still accessible.
