The first thing that you have to do is register with the government gateway.
http://www.gateway.gov.uk/
this is the front door to a number of government facilities.
I refuse to call them "services"!
One such is your tax form submission.
I use it for VAT and alcohol returns, but not personal taxation as this is
handled by my accountant.

hi all if some of you can fill in your tax forms online i would apreciate on

i went to register for the online services it gives me a user id code but
then i cannot get to stage 5 where i should be able to put in my post code
and the like. there's no way now you can fill you tax returns over the phone
