Its replacing the batteries that seems to kill mine off, mind you, the last
one has lasted me four and a half years on the one battery so that wasn't
too bad.

Personally I go for the cheap 4.50 ones these days as something always ends
up going wrong with more expensive ones, and even the cheap ones have hourly
report, stopwatch and 4 alarms.
I'm sure they don't look as good as some others but it works out just as
well buying a new watch every year rather than replacing batteries and
straps.
