Hi David, It is a real product. Made by caretech. Zeitgeist translated is 'time spirit' or 'time ghost' according to context - both of which are conceptual!!! -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steve Nutt Sent: 27 August 2007 22:24 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: talking clocks Hi Trace, One of the best and most fun talking clocks, in my view, is the Zeitgeist from Caretech. It not only speaks the time and date, but it can work out your age to the nearest hour if you know what time you were born, tells you the phases of the moon, how many days to the end of the year, and all kinds of fun stuff. In fact, I think it does everything to do with time, including stopwatch, appointment calendar, and various countdown timers. Quick shameless plug: We sell it for 50 quid. I have the rnib's radio controlled one and that's great but I like having different ones so, something like that but different would be great. Oncwe heard about one that uses some sort of voice recognition, you can ask it the time. I've had three of Cobolt's calendar clocks, the first one didn't last long, the second one was ok for a while and the third one, like the first died just after the warreanty ran out so I have them up as a bad job.
