I happen to have spoken to Will on this matter, and he wants to use SA if he can because it doesn't hogg the memory on the nc10. and btw, looking at mine today, I see I have 200mb of ram available with a ton of things running, updates for about three things at once, plus a slu of updates for ms windows xp and jaws too. So hmm. Though I'd like to squeaze some of that samsung stuff off the netbook if I can, but don't know enough about the netbook and what samsung stuff does what. Something called samsung eds? Strange stuff that. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steve Nutt Sent: 11 February 2010 09:02 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: system access Hi Peter, You are assuming that Will needs JAWS to do the job? I think dependingon the job System Access might just surprise you and be sufficient. I'll dig out a phone number for you tomorrow but think they are based in Glasgow since it was all centralised. They will pay potentially for all of your equipment and JAWS wouldn't be a problem to get I don't think. You might wnat to see the Disability Employment Advisor at your local jobcentre who might be able to refer you for other support such as Work Step.
