Hi Everyone I think there is a difference between listening to books using a text-to-speech converter and listening to books someone has converted from speech to text. If one is reading a .txt book on a book player and a word is pronounced strangely it is possible to check the spelling of the word. This is often not possible when reading an RnIB synthetic speech book. And, unless their quality control has improved, their synthesizer, or whatever they use, has built-in abbreviations which are sometimes incorrect.
