Hi Hazel. I get the message in my notifications, and the messaging part of the phone.

This is how it should be.

I can also delete my messages, without them reappearing, in my notifications.

Dave.

Steve once again and the last from me on this issue.

You must have the same bug as I if your text messages land in the
notification area.

I have spoken to many people who use this neat and reliable phone
including a very knowledgeable IT person on this list who uses this
phone and cannot understand why this happens.

Honza who I believe helped in the design of this phone also cannot
understand why.

When you are in the message area and enter onto the conversation this is
where you can 1. write and receive messages.2.

read, reply, forward and delete.

I think you are having a bad brain day Steve as usually your replies are
smack on.

Hazel
