Hi Mark
Thanks, I have just installed Spyware Doctor and, touch wood, I think it has done the trick.

Thanks.

I was going to suggest MS anti-spyware myself, only the Accessibility
Barrier was giving me great reservations. I do use it, but undoubtedly don't
by any means derive its full potential.

Cheers,

Mark

Hi Brian,

Although not entirely accessible as yet, Microsoft's own anti-spyware scores
very highly in my book.

What I especially like about it is that it is interactive,
in so much as if spyware hit you, it traps it there and
then. With ALL other packages, you only find out if you
have spyware when you run a scan.

However, be aware that some spyware can only be removed manually. That
said, if one program fails to remove it, it pays to Google for a dedicated
solution.

George.

Hi
I am trying to gauge people's opinion on the best spyware package to use
these days? Do people still think ad-aware is good? My wife has some
spyware on her computer which launches one of two sites: Zeno and Monster,
both of which seem to display advert pages within internet explorer. I have
run Ad-Aware several times and removed various spyware off the machine, but
it's not disappearing as yet. Short of re-building the PC which for several
reasons I am reluctant to do, from an accessibility point of view I wonder
which program rates highly with list members? If it costs, I don't mind if
it will do the job.

Thanks.
