I have looked at the shine app and although it works(once you get the
thing setup) half the features arte either incompete or non
existant, like their website which mrerely states "coming soo!"
considering that the demonstration vieo on youtube has a 2011 date, I am
uncertain as to how long this will be around although granted shine does
seem to have been updated recently but, and this is a point worth
bearing in mind, it is STILL a bare bones app.

Hi,
1. Install Shine Plus from the Play Store with Talkback on.
2. Go into Settings, Accessibility, then first turn on Shine Plus.
3. Now turn off Talkback.
Your transition is complete.
To reverse it, make sure you turn Talkback on before you turn
Shine Off.
All the best
Steve

hi guys, I have been Informed, that there are 2 major ways of
having speech on Android phones.
The one we all know is Talkback, this is a part of Accessibility
on all Android handsets, but there is a new kid on the block, not
quite sure of its full name, but I have been told, it is something
like Shine plus.
I was wondering if anyone can step me through trying out Shine.
Would I have to turn off Talkback from settings/accessibility?.
Then get the Shine app, and run this?. Only thing is, how to run
Shine, with Talkback turned off, no speech.
I am probably talking pure rubbish here, but could someone please
tell me how it is really done?, Billy
