You're having better luck than me – I can't get SoundForge going on this
particular laptop at all!
Seriously though, I can't help directly with either question. However, can you
still scrub with other navigation keys, e.g. the arrows, CTRL with the arrows?
I also can't help RE deleting with I and O. However, if you're sure the
selection it's making is pseudo random, try resetting the zoom. It's in the
view menu. Sometimes I find that it gets out of sync for some reason, which has
particular implications for me when I press ENTER to pause a file – if the zoom
isn't right, it will pause a few seconds before where I actually was in the
file.

Hey steve, thanks, firstly, recently I installed sound forge pro on my
laptop,i’m using jaws 2018 and windows ten, in my earlier versions of sound
forge I could scrub through a file using the page down on the numpad, but it
doesn’t work with this new version, secondly, if I wanted to delete part of a
file I would put the letter I at the start of the portion and the letter O at
the end and press the delete key and the part I wanted to delete would be gone,
however, when I try the same procedure with this new version it deletes way
back before the LETTER I hope i’m making myself clear, i’ve got one or two
smaller issues but they can wait, many thanks for your interest, god bless,
