Poor Sonata, I've taken it to my heart, and I'm here to prevent you lot from
ganging up on it, (big smile).  I like it, big or not, but I do agree it is
expensive to purchase.  Just as well I know a nice man who bought me mine!
(grins).

Unnecessarily so imho.
It's like those children's toys that are packaged in big, shiny, boxes so
the little darlings get all excited and pester  their parents to buy one but
when they get them home it's the box they play with not the tacky small toy
surrounded by polystyrene.
Marketing, just marketing.   I would not be surprised to be told that an
internal examination of the device would find an awful lot of empty space.
