I stgruggled all afternoon trying to change the font but it just wouldn't
let me. Eventually I changed the default from dox to doc and it then allowed
me to change the font colour and all is well!
Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

Hi Alison,
Sounds like a plan. And do the same in Outlook to make sure your Outlook and
Word fonts match. Font Arial black, font colour black, font size 12/14
whichever you choose to use, but no smaller, and see how well that sets you
up.
Best,
Clive

So how do I rectify this? Should I go into fonts on the NS Word document and
ensure black is selected or is there anything else I ought to do?

It will be because it is coming out in white on white or black on black. I
have experienced this before myself when trying to read MESSAGES. Zoom Text
can read it out to me but it is not visible on the screen..

I wonder if any of you have some ideas why, when I am copying some text from
an MS Word document into a Microsoft Outlook e-mail, the sighted recipient
cannot see the text and yet those using screenreaders can access the text?
