Hi Kevin

I've not used their firewall but have been an AVG Pro user for almost 2 years now and an AVG Free Edition for a year before that and have had no problems at all. I've used a variety of anti-virus programs free and paid for, Norton, McAfee, Avast, Panda to name a few and always come back to AVG. I tried NOD32 earlier this month and simply was not impressed. My paid for period with AVG expires in April and the only change I foresee is I may change it for the package including the firewall.

A Satisfied Customer

Roger

hi all, well i'm now using the 30 day trial edition of AVG antivirus
+firewall. seems very accessible. i've not used any AVG products before but
first impressions are good. anyone got any comments on AVG antivirus
compared to norton? and anyone used the firewall product from AVG?
according to the website the antivirus +firewall product is £31. would i be
throwing money down the drain? or is it worth it!

I'll add to this Kevin a mention of Outpost Firewall. Many Window-Eyes
users have been turning to it as I believe it is pretty accessible. I know
very little about it, but I've heard it said it is good at stopping stuff
getting out as well as into your computer.

If anyone knows more, or better still, is using Outpost, then it would be
nice to hear from them. If I can find more, such as their website, I'll let
you know.

| Hi Kevin. I use SPF, however since the Symantec take-over, people are
| avoiding that one. There's been a lot of mention regarding Kerio Personal

| I believe this is also on the verge of changing hands, if it hasn't done
so
