Hi Chris,

I am no expert as I am total, but I am told reliably that Android has even
better magnification, because you can magnify temporary areas of the screen.
It is either on or off with iOS.

All the best

Hi iOS does have good magnification thanks to Zoom according to some low
vision users I know or know of. I have not enough vision to read myself, so
use VoiceOver exclusively. On Android, there is magnification as part of the
accessibility services, but don't know or know of anyone using it right now
who could comment on how it works compared to Zoom on iOS. Like VoiceOver on
iOS, I use Talkback exclusively on Android.

Hello,
Can anyone recommend a good smartphone?
I have myopic macular degenerstion, with loss of central vision in one
eye, the other eye is holding up fairly well.
I have an ipad mini, so am used to Apple, but am wary of the cost of an
iphone.
Have not used Android, but think I could get used to it, if needs be.
I currently have an unsmart Doro phone, but I need to branch out to a
smartphone.

Thanks for suggestions.

Mike
