Graham, I have the Dell XPS M1210, on the recommendation of Richard Godfrey. This weighed in lighter than the Latitude range (though came out more expensive). I purchased about sixteen months ago. I'm very pleased with mine as I have a back problem. I'd check with Dell what their lightest model is at present. -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxx ---- Original Message ---- From: Graham Page To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, March 28, 2008 1:22 AM Subject: [access-uk] small portable laptops > Hi all. > > After giving some really close and serious consideration to the range > of note takers with Braille displays available, I have decided to go > with a laptop and a Braille display because I want to be able to work > with Microsoft Word documents.
