Hi Brian,

Yes, kind of. If you want to record a programme that is on now, then you
can just hit record. Playback is easy, just hit TV Guide, then the green
button on the remote, then select to play the top programme. If that isn't
the one you want, then backup, down arrow, and select for the next
programme.

But there is better news yet. You can set up your recordings over the web.
Sign up to My Sky and you can register your box, then you can do it.

Finally, you can set your recordings up using SMS text messages to a special
number, giving just the title of the programme. This also makes the box
accessible if you have a speaking phone. It does cost 25P per text, but I
reckon it is worth it to me.

I hope this helps.

All the best

Steve

Hi,

is the sky plus box accessible to be used by a totally blind person?
can programs be recorded and accessed independent of sighted assistance?

Brian.
