I use sleep mostly, only rebooting when needed or when the dam thing decides
to do it itself when waking, which can happen, and did today, though I have
a thought as to why that happened, I shoved an sd card into the card reader
when it was waking, which probably confused the poor thing.

Subject: [access-uk] shutting down the pc

Hi

Not sure whether this has been discussed before.  At the end of the day,
what is the best way to close down the computer.  I always use shut down,
but it does take a few minutes to reboot in the morning.  I have asked one
or two people and some use shut down, others use sleep and one rarely, if
ever shuts down at all.  I imagine sleep is rather like stand by on a tv.

Any thoughts?

David
