Hi Dave,
I don't know the answer to this one, but I did find a way out of a trap
yesterday. I wasn't able to shut down, which is quite unusual for me. Anyway, I
looked around and found that there were a few ways to shut down Windows 10,
anyway, I discovered that you could set the power options to turn the computer
off when you press the power button. I decided to try this, having used the
Control Panel to get my Power settings correctly and it worked! You might want
to give it a try!
Incidentally, I am enjoying the Echo! Some playing and some serious stuff I
have needed to look up makes it worthwhile! :-) Carol P - Sent from my iPhone

Hi
Not sure whether this has been discussed before. At the end of the day,
what is the best way to close down the computer. I always use shut down,
but it does take a few minutes to reboot in the morning. I have asked one
or two people and some use shut down, others use sleep and one rarely, if
ever shuts down at all. I imagine sleep is rather like stand by on a tv.
Any thoughts?
