Thanks to all the people who have responded to this topic. I had no idea these tills had voice prompts but it still does not solve the problem of us locating the barcodes without sighted help. We have in store help when we do shopping and it looks like this will have to be the way in future with or without self service tills. Perhaps we could have an assistance dog who could be trained to put the goods with the barcode in the right position , just a thought. Hazel
