Yes, whether it will do the job, but also whether it's really what you're looking for! For example, the texture of the cover would be important to me, not only size and how accessible the phone was when in the cover.

Hi Hannah. Braille can be of help and I wish you could get it on tins, packets etc. Organisations such as the co-op provide Braille on some products. Maybe wider use of Braille would encourage rehab officers and the like to get clients to learn Braille even if it is just grade 1. Frankly, I don't think however Braille on the packaging is the issue here. It is not the identity of the product that is the issue. the issue is whether or not the product will do the job. I'm currently lookingaround for my case for the Nokia 6630 but, as this phone has beendiscontinued, many of the suitable covers are now no longer available. Inan attempt to find something appropriate, I have realised that, in a lot of cases, these (like so many other goods) are well packaged and not readily feelable. Yes, I could take something home and try it, and be sure to get a receipt with an assurance that I could return the product, but I don't really want to do this. When a shop worker does not wish to take items from their packages, Is this really anything I should expect (as a "reasonable adjustment" (under the DDA) as a blind person? I know headphones cannot be tried in shops, but I like at least to feel them, nevertheless! Has anyone felt strongly enough to insist the packaging is removed for inspection? Thanks for any comments. -- Carol carol.pearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq __________ NOD32 2432 (20070802) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
