Well that would be down to your ariel not the freeview box.

The fact you are ok Sky means you get it through the satellite. You really
need to check your ariel, no matter freeview box or not, if you are getting
bad reception then you need a new ariel.

half the channels have no EPG and the sound quality disgusting at least for
