Tristram says

"For software it is different because those who will have to continue
To look after that copy of JAWS brought by another individual still
Have the ongoing duty and cost to maintenance and support it"

But support is only available if Jaws is up to date!

And to keep up to date, the customer pays for the upgrades.
Upgrades are not free!

So how then can it be justified to pay fee to
Transferred licence given that upgrade fees still apply.

If I was to sell my jaws 9 and the new owner wants
Jaws 13 or whatever, he has to pay the upgrade fee,
Even though a transfer licences feel has also been paid.
