As far as I know, all a screen saver does is stop light images burning onto the
monitor screen so, if your monitor is switched off, then I guess that it isn't
going to burn. I haven't had a screen saver on my pc for years for this reason.

  Subject: [access-uk] screen saver question

  Hi list:

I know this might sound a crazy question, but if you have your screen turned
off, do you need to have a screensaver at all? i find some screensavers
interfeer with some programmes that are heavy on processor power.

  thanks.
