Hi Carroll.

The scanner I've been pushing, its a flatbed scanner and with the right
software can scan just about anything *smile*. I've used this to scan in
books, manuals and everyday post and I've nothing but praise for it. Because
its portable, I can just sling this scanner in my bag if I need to go anywhere
and with software installed on my netbook, I have a complete scanning solution
on the go.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Yes, I'm looking for one also, but am still quite keen on possibly going for
a Book Edge scanner; so that probably lessens my choice considerably. Do
people really think they're worth it for scanning in books!

(Incidentally, for those who advised about my upgrade of Kurzweil, it's on
order now; thanks, and I can't wait to get going with it!)
