Hi.

It depends which ones you're using. certain ones made by CiT for 3.5 drives were trayless i.e you inserted the drive, then you screw screws in to the chassy to hold the drive in place, then insert covers to hide the screws. Most of the others i've seen are tray based. for 2.5 drives, most are trayless. What's your budget? perhaps i can find one for you?

Mo.

Mo,

Thanks for that.

Are the ones you have used trayless? In otherwords, are they the type where you just insert a sata drive in to the drawer or do they have holders?

Ideally, I would like a trayless one to avoid screwing the drives in to holders before inserting them.

Hi. Yes, i've used quite a few. generally, you can get them cheaper or
at the same price including delivery from ebay. I wouldn't recommend icy
box, their kit can be a bit flimsy, design isn't consistent. CiT are ok,
as well as akasa. Generic ones off ebay are also ok, look for ones that
say they have a solid aliminium design which means they're generally
made out of metal.

I hope this helps.

all the best,

Mo.
