Couldn't find a price for this programme after the 30 days trial.

Yup.

You can use a program called DVD Audio Extractorr

I wonder if anyone on the list has experience of ripping the audio track
from a DVD into MP3 format.

For the sake of portability, I want to record the audio tracks from a number
of DVD's I have.

I know I can do this in real time and as I have sound forge 6, I suppose it
would not be too much of a problem, but as I have never "watched" DVD's on
my computer I don't even know which would be the best program to work with
my jaws 6.2 and xp home system. Actually, I'd quite like suggestions for the
most accessible software player too.

But getting back to my main question, I know that there are at least two
audio rippers for DVD soundtracks out there, but even if I can obtain free
trial versions there will be the inevitable huge learning curve as I get
used to unfamiliar screens and very possibly accessibility issues and even
the chance of conflicts which would cripple my computer until I can get an
engineer in to sort things out.

So if anyone has experience of audio ripping soundtracks from DVD's I'd love
to hear their comments.

Thanks in advance

Steve Green
