Justin

You have to highlight the text you want to align.

Roger

If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.

nah, still doesn't work. I can't figure it out. I've looked in the help file and, it says nothing about aligning text within a cell.

Oh well, I'd be glad when I'm done with this part of the course I'm studying.

thanks for your advice, anyway. Worth a try.

all the best,

Justin

Okay, Control R only if you highlight the text first?

Nope, not there Peter.

It would've helped if I said I was using ms office 2002 XP.

Sorry, does that make a difference?

Justin, look in the pull down menu under format, then paragraph alignment?

Hi everyone,

I cannot understand this for the life of me.

How do I right align text in MS excel? Ctrl+R will not do that as it does
in MS word.

What are the hotkeys for left/right aligning and centreing text, in cells,
in Excel?

Info greatfully received. Thanks all.

Justin
