I thought I had turned all the other panes off, Steve, but will
double-check. What is strange about this losing focus is that it only
happens occasionally.

Hi Alison,

No, but it sounds like you have another window popping up, which is grabbing
JAWS focus.

Have you turned all the panes off, preview, etc?

All the best

Steve

I was relieved to see I wasn't alone in often not being able to use control
r to respond to messages, and now mostly just use alt l (reply to all) which
never lets me down - so far anyway!

But another funny little quirk has started recently too and I wondered
whether others had also experienced this.

Sometimes, when writing a reply to a message, focus unexpectedly jumps away
from the editfield and I have to alt tab to get back into the message I am
writing.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Alison
