Hi Alison
Your best bet is to select the entire document with control+A, then use
control+shift+N to make it a normal document. Failing that, if formatting is
not important to you, select the entire document as above, open a blank Word
page, then go to Paste on the Home tab. In there, you can choose Paste
Special, then paste the document as unformatted text, and that will rid you
of all those pesky headings.
Kind regards,

Subject: [access-uk] removing headings from a word document
I have a document where I have pasted information from various sources but
now it is full of heading 2 and 3 etc. Is there a way of removing these
headings?
