I suggested reformatting the D partition earlier but didn't know if it would work, I don't have a netbook.

I removed the Samsung recovery software, and then just reformated the D partition. I have a problem with my newly purchased netbook I hope someone can help me with here. It concerns this backup utility provided on the machine for the purposes of recovering from disk crashes or failures. Since I've my own software I wish to use, I was wondering how you removed the partition this Samsung software uses. I've removed the application itself and have tried partition magic to merge disk drives C and D together, but I'm not getting anywhere as it seems there is a hidden partition on the drive for the recovery process. I don't want to particularly format my computer as it would mean using another jaws life, but if needs must I will. All the best, Ibrahim ______________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned by the MessageLabs Email Security System.
