I will send it back, Steve, but I think the problem is mechanical rather
than software. My computer isn't even recognising it now as a drive. The
case feels a little loose and my husband says it looks like the tiny screw
are connecting.

Hi Alison,
Before you give up on it, you might want to send it back to us, we may be
able to repair it.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] recommendations on small daisy readers
It looks like my Milestone is dying! It is over ten years old, so I can't
complain, but before I replace it, I wondered if anyone had any
recommendations.
What I like about the milestone is its size (little bigger than a credit
card) and the fact that it is also a radio, talking clock and has good
recording capacity.
So, folk, before I order another Milestone, any suggestions?
Alison
