Command-q will “quit” the app whereas command-w will, in most cases, close a
focused window within an app. So to close an app in its entirety, including its

hi guys,
i've been playing around on the macbook, i can now navigate the dock and open
apps, not sure how to close them though, i'm sure i asked that question
before and probably got an answer, i have been deleting mail on the macbook
though and i've probably deleted the answer by accident
i'm also wondering how to read and reply to a message, i'm thinking that to
open up the mail to read i'll press ctrl, options and the space bar, how do i
then navigate to a reply button and once replied to how do i navigate to a
send button
thanks ever so much for all of the continued help
