Frank.

Apparently this is a known problem.

Don't know a fix, but it's nothing to do with your version of windows. It's happened to several people I know.

Try hitting alt n through the installation as the program will come up in English once installed. And you can configure the settings once installed.

I know why. If you're using a German version of Windows, all screens, including screens that you see, will be in German. Most installation programmes require that the language for the software should match the language for the operating system. Hope that helps.

Hi list, can anyone help me with this. i am attempting to install nod32. i downloaded the english version, but when i tried to install it, it insisted in talking to me in german. a friend of mine, then sent me the nod32 file that he used for his own installation, and i tried again. although for him it installed in english, for me it insisted in coming up again in german, when i clicked on the extract button. there seems to be nowhere where a given language can be chosen. when my son, who can see what he is doing, downloaded the english version and tried to install it on my machine, we were back to square one. back to german. has anyone had this trouble, and if so, what did he or she do about it. help if you can. brian.
