Hi listers,

I'm mystified that the Beeb should have geared itself towards JAWS and
whatever the other screenreader is. Are we referring to i-Player or another
downloader.

Regards,

Mike

Brian,

Have you tried Radio Downloader? It is free and should work with Window
eyes.

Not sure of the URL but Google should sort you out.

Subject: [access-uk] re bbc downloads

Hi list, the bbc has associated its sites with jaws, and another screen
reader, which i think is called i b a. i haven't got either of these. i use
window eyes. does anyone know how to download a programme from bbc 7. now,
it always asks for java script, which i haven't got. if anyone can help
please do. don't however ask me to get jaws. i have always used wineyes, and
at the age of 79, i can't learn to use another system, which cost several
hundred pounds, just to download bbc programmes i have missed. until lately,
i never had any trouble. brian.
