Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help. I got a stick of five twelve ram today and
decided that I would give my brother my two five six stick because I plan to
get another stick of five twelve when I have the money.

However, something strange happened apon trying to install it.

I took my two five six stick out and replaced it with the five twelve one. The
computer wouldn't boot, it just kept making beep noises at me. I checked to
make sure that all the clips were done up securely and everything was fine but
the computer would still not boot. After moving the ram to my second slot which
I have never used before, the computer is now working fine.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Does this mean there is something
wrong with my motherboard? Will I be able to use this slot again?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Danielle
