Yes, certainly.

Android 11 have muti-finger gestures for Talkback and they are fully
customisable.  The double finger double tap is there by default, but you
have to go into Talkback's Developer Options to turn it on, as it is
currently an experimental feature.

Hi Steve, Can you play/pause music with a 2 finger double tap?  That was my
only gripe with TalkBack and Google Pay not supporting Barclays for
contactless payments.

Hi Ibrahim,

To be fair and balanced, we are in a good place now with phone access.  I
think the accessibility of iOS and Android is about level now.  So for blind
people as for sighted people, it is a lifestyle choice, not an accessibility
one.  I have both, and I can't find anything I can do on my iPhone that I
can't on my Pixel, and vice versa.

But there is still this perception among blind people that iOS must be the
best because it was first and Google got it so wrong at the beginning.

I am really pleased where we are now and have been using Android since 2009
happily.

All the best

Hi Steve.

The more I use Android, the more it's growing on me now especially with the
multi finger gestures.  I'm hoping to make Android my primary OS within a
few months.  Thanks for the tips pun intended *smile*.

Hi,

I have no idea.  But they work well for me, and they are fully customisable.

By the way, the single finger gestures still work when multi-finger is
enabled, so there are a plethora of ways to do things.  For example, you can
use the multi or single finger versions interactively.  It's very powerful.

Thanks Steve, that did the trick.  Still getting used to the multi-finger
gestures on Android 11, do you know when they officially intend to roll
these out or will they remain hidden away in developer options?

Thanks.

Hi Ibrahim,

Head into Text To Speech Settings, then change the language from System

Hi Everyone.

Hope someone can help with this niggling little annoyance with my new pixel.
I currently have all speech in UK English high quality Google, however
whenever I visit websites with chrome either by clicking a link or using the
Google News or other aggregation apps and a Chrome window opens, my phone
switches to American English which is harsh on the ears.  Can anyone suggest
a way to stop this from happening?  Thanks.
