Quick Time is a media player produced by Apple! Actually it is quite good quality sound and I had it here for a while. The only problem is that you have to take ITunes with it, but that is not necessarily a great difficulty.

Subject: [access-uk] quicktime

Hi

I've bene up on a website which wanted me to download something called
quicktime when looking at some audio. Can someone let me know what this is
and whether the program is accessible, or is it just a plugin that once I
have it, I can safely listen to anything requiring it. I did download adobe
FlashPlayer successfully to listen to material on a site which interested
me, and I haven't experienced any difficulty, so hope quicktime will be
something similar. Thanks for any help or information.
