Hi Andy, 

It depends on your version of JAWS.  If you’re using JAWS 15 or lower, then 
you’ll need the pro version.  From JAWS 16 onwards, they changed it to home and 
pro, based on the purpose you used it for rather than the operating system you 
were running.  So if you are a non-commercial user with JAWS 16 Home, you can 
run it on a Windows 8 Pro machine, but if you are a JAWS 15 Standard customer, 
you can’t because the change hadn’t been introduced then.
