I use power dvd version four. I've tried later versions but in my
experience I haven't been able to use them with jaws. With this you hit the
applications key and arrow down to audio langauges and the AD track usually
comes up as english 2.

hi all:

I've recently been looking in to getting some more dvd's for my collection.
I understand a lot of these now have audio description. I'm wondering - is
their any way a blind person can start audio description them selves on a
computer, the way one can sometimes press a button that sycles through the
audio tracks on some stand alone dvd players? what software are people using
to access their described DVD's?

Thanks:
Jack
