[access-uk] problem with nvda saving configurations on windows 8.1

hi all i use windows 8.1 and nvda next snapshorts also i tried using
2013.3 the problem is lets say i change the speed of a sinthesizer or
select a different voice or sinth and go to save configuration in the
nvda main menu i get error saving configuration probably a read only
file system and i cannot save the configuration if i restart nvda it
loads to default configuration i have tried running nvda as a
administrator uninstalling and reinstalling nvda but no use.
what to do friends please help urgently
