Hi orhan,
I think this is because you have use MS word as your default email
editor. Turn it off and you might have better luck. Turn it off
anyway, its over-kil.

Hi, I've had absolutely no problems subscribing to Freelists lists,
or any lists for that matter, via my Googlemail account, even if
it's via Pop3/imap4. However, I am aware that Outlook has an issue
where for some strange reason your problem occurs, even with no
signature. So it could be a fault with either your ISP's software and/or
Outlook. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

Subject: [access-uk] problem subscribing on a freelist hosted mailing
list

Hey list,
I am having trouble subscribing to an email list hosted on the
freelist server. I sent a subscription request, got an email back
telling me to either send lines to ane email address or to reply to
the email I got. I replied to the email first leaving the message
body blank as instructed and all I got was an email saying that no
command was found. I then tried to send those lines to the email
address as instructed as a second choice and what I got was a reply
saying that the command was invalid. I am not sure what it is with
this freelist server but I can never seem to be able to subscribe to
any email lists on there. I remember having to ask a friend of mine
to talk to the moderator of this very list so as to be subscribed as
I was for some odd reason not able to do it either. Can anyone
enlighten me on this? I am absolutely lost there! Thanks in
advance, Lyn & Twinny.
