[access-uk] problem installing windows updates

Hi list,
One of my friends is having problems installing high priority windows updates.
He just finished installing windows XP SP3 but for some reason cannot complete
the installation of the remaining updates. He gets to a certain point and then
he gets a message saying that updates could not be installed. Anybody has an
idea? Thanks in advance.
