Hello Austin

Did you try doing windows m to minimise everything and bring up the desk top that way? I have had similar messages like this and that Key stroke usually works. Apologies if you have already tried this and it didn't work for you.

hi all
I use win7ultimate when i upgraded from jaws 11 to jaws 12 latest
build jaws doesnt read anything on desktop it says no window is active
it doesnt read start menu or any application menus i 1st cleanly
uninstalled jaws 11 and all components and then used c cleaner to
clean reg entries then installed jaws 12
