Hi Ron,

I assume it was a typo on your part.

Can you reproduce the error, and check it more carefully?

George.

How do I find that George?

Ron

Hi Ron,

O.K. That potentially narrows the search down a little.

Can you check exactly what "dirrecAPI, DLL" really should
be?

The .exe file mentioned does appear to be an Olympus
program, but I need to know the correct name of the DLL
file.

George.

Yes George I do, and that's another thing. I put out a
message a few days ago
to say that my Olympus DS50 wasn't recognised in either of
our computers. When
I put it in the USB port it isn't showing up as a drive and
it says please wait
on the Olympus screen. Hagger electronics where I purchased
it from suggest
sending it back when the postage strike is over. Is this
latest message
connected with the Olympus?

Regards

Ron

Do you by any chance have any equipment made by Olympus? A
camera perhaps?

George.

Can anybody tell me what this message means?

"Directrecconfig.exe unable to locate component "
this application has failed to start because dirrecAPI, DLL
was not found.
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Cheers

Ron
