Hi Simon,

Sounds like fairly normal behaviour for a laser printer.
Remember that it will not start printing until it has
received the full page. Some pages may contain more data
than others, especially if any graphics are on the page.

George.

hello list,
I have a Samsung CLP500 laser printer here, and have found
that for some reason, it seems to take a very long time to
actually get started printing.
when anything is sent to it, it starts up but doesn't print
anything first off, almost like it needs to warm up first.
then when it finally gets round to printing, it sometimes
stops between pages, and sometimes I am not sure if it has
actually finished or if it is just having a rest between
pages.
has anyone else had these problems, and if so have you found
a way of fixing them, i.e, getting the printer to start
printing faster, and not stopping between pages?

Simon
