What email client is she using? It's possible that one or other of
your clients is very old and isn't defaulting to UTF-8 on either the
send or read end of things.

Or, somehow the encoding setting has changed. Do you know what email
client she is using on the ipad?

        Hi  All
Does anyone know why  this happens.

When  I Sent email to my  sister, I typed   £144
But she got on her  ipad  =A3144

It seems  my £  was not  correctly  disploayed her  end.
