Hi Jill. Hmm, strange, I use Mcafee myself and have no problems with it. I think it will be the toolbar that has been causing you the problems, you can always bet on a toolbar to cause you problems with popups as they include such a feature as standard. As for breeching your terms and conditions, Mcafee was probably a demo or a trial, without using the security centre and looking under the account status it would be difficult to determine what Mcafee subscription you were using however I don't think it will be a major problem for you, you'll just have to either reinstall it or source another protection product for your PC security needs. ----- Original Message ----- From: JILLIAN GRANT To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, February 20, 2009 3:07 PM Subject: [access-uk] pop-ups sorted Hi. I've just been speaking to one of the technical support staff at Sight and Sound and they've sorted it remotely. Just as well I did. I've discovered that mcafee (sorry if I've misspelled that) appears to be inaccessible with Jaws, and that was part of the problem. I think the problem was also the BT Yahoo tool bar. Seems I'd have struggled to sort it out on my own. I was also having trouble authorizing Jaws, which was why I rang them in the first place. Just a bit concerned that if I don't use Mcafee, I might breech the terms and conditions, but I'll have to ask them. Thanks anyway to Ibby and the rest for trying to help. Jill.
