Hi Anthony,
Interesting. I’ll check that out.
Thanks.
All the best

Pocket Casts is one of the services listed in Sonos itself. I am of course
assuming we are talking about the same thing.
O thing
One thing I noticed is that with Pocket Casts I am seeing podcast episodes
which were not seen by the native iOS podcast app. So far, I am finding it a
well-spent £3.99.

Hi Ian,
How did you get Pocketcasts to work with Sonos? It’s not seen as a device to
cast to on the Android version.
Thanks.

I actually quite like the way the Podcast app works under iOS11. However, as I
like more often than not to listen to podcasts on Sonos, I decided this morning
to bite the bullet and install Pocket Casts. So far, so good. The interface is
quite straightforward and of course it works well with Sonos.

Hi,
At the same time, why suffer if you don’t need to? You can end up spending
more time than a couple of quid’s worth, just to get it working.
The Apple podcasting app is a very stripped down version of any podcasting app,
there are tons more better ones out there.

Up until now the Apple Podcast was not only free, Steve, but incredibly easy to
use. Maybe I will have to subscribe to a more user-friendly podcaster but I
will do my best to work the free version first. Why pay if you don’t need to –
