David, although it does have a few folders and limited speed control, the
Olympus Vn2000 is probbly available for about £30.

I am looking for a very small, reasonably priced, pocket voice recorder for
taking brief notes. I do not require multiple folders or variable speed,
just something very small to take out of a pocket and use for reminder
messages.
